I came across Nikolien when I was feeling pretty desperate in my life, I’m a therapist and I’ve followed a lot of therapies and (after that) started giving therapy myself. After a year and a half of being in survival mode with myself and my environment, which resulted in a burnout, I had contact with Nikolien several times, via Zoom, because I felt that something had to be changed, but I didn’t know how. I decided to follow an individual program with Nikolien. I have experienced that Nikolien was able to bring me from a very negative look at myself towards a positive look at myself and my surroundings. I have been working on my self-esteem, my self-confidence, my right to exist and my right to express my opinion. Me, and my environment, notice that I am much calmer inside and also radiate this. I am more open to change without approaching myself negatively. I am actively working on to perpetuate these changes in my daily doings.

I noticed that everything was getting too much for me, my work, my family, all the things I wanted and the things that I had to. Nikolien had helped me before so I emailed her. Looking back on my program at Moms&More more than a year ago : The goal I set with my program achieved is that I no longer have anxiety/panic attacks. The knot in my stomach that was there as long as I can remember is gone. For over a year! My confidence has skyrocketed and I won’t let others walk all over me. I dare to stand up for myself and dare to indicate when people cross my boundaries or that I just don’t want certain things. I have experienced the process as pleasant. Everything happened at my pace and Nikolien felt very good which was the best way for me. We worked via Zoom because I live abroad. I feel very different now than before the program. It’s a world of difference. I look different now to myself and have the feeling that I can be there too. I’ve never experienced anything like this. It feels as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders and that while my personal circumstances have remained unchanged in recent times. But how I am now is a huge difference.

With this Moms&More program I found myself again. After more than a year of being burnt-out, I finally came back to earth in 4 sessions. Looking back on the program I am very satisfied with the results. I still find the method weird, but there is only 1 way and that is completely surrendering and following. Before I ended up at Nikolien I spent more than a year visiting a psychologist two times per week to get rid of my burnout. This didn’t help. The comparison with the psychologist cannot be made; they do not resemble each other in any way. The psychologist also works hard on your problems, only they work purely with your mind. Unfortunately the mind sometimes leaves us hanging and the mind does not have the solutions. With Nikolien I got rid of my burnout within 4 sessions! Nikolien did a great job. A big fat 10 for this amazing woman. So if you need to get out of a place where you see no way out, it’s time to surrender and follow. What do you have to lose? I got a lot of answers here, and ways to how I can believe in myself more, believe that I do matter. It is very surprising because you usually have to do a lot with a coach, homework has to be done and with this program that is not necessary at all. At the most you should think about which aspects you still want to tackle. And it was great to see that you have so many answers within yourself, where you actually never take the time to listen to yourself. It was super to get rid of all that self-sabotage.

Things have changed in several areas. I think one of the most important outcomes, direct or indirect as a result of the coaching, is that I have increased my self-confidence on a professional level, which I had lost for years. I have found it again. I was finally able to talk to someone about my bore-out and everything that was going on, that helped and has also to put things in a different perspective. During the program, some things happened at work that caused an outburst on my part, finally allowing myself to go to my management and I have been able to put things on the table. All this got the ball rolling. I got a new project and much more understanding of my management. Then I felt better in my current role and also gained the confidence to apply to new roles again with a positive attitude (I was applying for almost 2 years with zero result.) And that’s why it suddenly went much better and I finally found a new job. I succeeded because I got some positive energy again and showed it. I am convinced the coaching program certainly contributed to that. I also feel more comfortable in my own skin. So I’m glad I did this. A lot has changed in a short time and on top of that we also found a house closer to work, which our quality of life will improve and I’m also pregnant. Suddenly all kinds of positive things happen, actually too much to comprehend! Nikolien, you guided me very well and you have invested a lot of time and energy in me, really thanks for that. I would say: if you are stuck privately and/or in your work, and you see no way out: go for it, it came on your way for a reason. It is not a quick-fix and you really have to get started yourself and be prepared to critically look at yourself, but it is certain that things will change. Maybe just a little thing first, but it could be enough to break the deadlock and get the energy flowing again. It may be an investment, but it is really more than worth it!

It is very striking that in such a short time I feel very different, while there is actually nothing changed in my circumstances. I feel much more relaxed, calmer, with more rest and acceptation. I sleep better and all the crappy thoughts are gone. I enjoy the little things more because everything isn’t so heavy anymore.

I have already tried many different things, so I knew how to deal with certain situations, but it did not feel that way. Now that I have completed my program with Nikolien, I don’t just know how to do things I want/have to do it, but it also feels good when I do in this way! Before I started the coaching program at Moms&More I was looking for which direction I should go regarding my career. We moved abroad for my husband’s job. After the program with Nikolien I have become calmer and no longer have outbursts. Because of this I got out of the vicious circle of getting angry and feeling really guilty afterwards. I came to Nikolien with a question about my work. Things were not going so well, in terms of work and private life, but it seemed too much to me to tackle all of this at once. But Nikolien insisted on that to do that anyway because everything works together, is interrelated and is influencing each other. And it was the right decision to work on everything at once. I still achieved tremendous results in a very short time! I quit my job without any outlook on another one but I knew what I wanted to do and that new job came my way within a few weeks! I also started a new study and I made positive decisions in my relationship. On the one hand I worked hard, but on the other hand I also have the feeling that it came naturally. What I liked about Nikolien’s way of working is that in a very practical way, she achieves quick results. We also did some sessions via Zoom, which saves a lot of time and is really effective. I had the feeling there was a kind of distant shell around me, which is just gone. I always steer very much on my rational side, but now I am much more inside myself. My goal was to get out of survival mode and be able to accept my current situation, and - if I was lucky enough - to be able to enjoy my life again. After one session I already got out of my survival mode, after three sessions I was calm, happy, content an active. My life is exactly the same, but I go along with it differently. Of course I still have an annoyance or frustration from time to time, but that will be gone in no time. The emotional roller coaster in negativity is gone for good. My head was very full before I started the program. I felt constant stress and I was forgetful and confused in everyday life. Now that I have finished the program I feel far more relaxed and focused. Also I feel more energetic, more decisive and have less guilt towards myself and my family. It is ok what I do, even if one day you haven’t achieved everything on your to-do-list. That gives me more peace and I have enough energy left to pick up the thread again the next day. The program gives you a lot of new insights and I can recommend it to everyone.

My biggest goal for my program was to gain a thorough understanding with regard to things that happened in my childhood. The program gave me insights that I never ever had before, even the many therapies I followed, did not reveal the most important information that was needed for real change. With the program I received a confirmation on what my real contribution to the world is, helping people in extreme change situations. After my program I set boundaries and make effective use of my talents. I communicate very clearly which options are available, but also which options are not available. As a down-to-earth result-oriented practical person, Nikolien’s approach particularly appealed to me. I am Annemieke, branch manager and consultant, young mother of a daughter of 8 months, pregnant of a second child and a starting entrepreneur.
