REIMBURSEMENTS

Some of Moms&More’s services are exempt from VAT for individuals.

You do not always have to pay the full cost of a session yourself. Below is an overview of reimbursement options.

Reimbursement by health insurance

Moms&More is affiliated with the professional association VIV and the organisation RBCZ. The costs of the session can therefore be fully or partially reimbursed by many health care insurers in the Netherlands (you need to have a Dutch health care insurance). It is advisable to ask your health care insurance company in advance about the possibilities within your (additional) policy, because every health care insurer has its own conditions.

When you have supplementary insurance, the sessions/therapy of Moms&More are (depending on your insurer and policy) partly reimbursed under Integral Therapy (prestation code 24500 – treatment psychotherapy). Because it is included in the supplementary insurance, you do not have to pay the legally required excess first!

  1. How it works: You pay the session to Moms&More and then submit your invoice to the health insurance company, which -depending on your policy- reimburses you (partially). So you receive an invoice yourself that you first pay yourself and then claim from your health insurance company. Would you like to make use of the reimbursement? Please indicate this at registration, and I will make sure the correct items are listed on the invoices.

If you want to inquire with your health insurer, it is important to mention:

  • Integral therapy is an alternative therapy and is paid for from the supplementary insurance
  • AGB code practice: 90063795 / AGB code care provider: 90104506

Registrations

  • VIV (Vereniging Integrale Vitaliteitkunde), professional association, registration code 1907940
  • RBCZ (Register Beroepsbeoefenaren Complementaire Zorg), licence number 180029R
  • Moms&More is registered in the Zorggids VGZ

For information on health insurance reimbursements for integrative therapy see the website of Vereniging Integrale Vitaliteitkunde.

Health insurers falling within the VGZ insurance group will also reimburse all or part of your sessions. See for Moms&More’s practice listing the Zorggids VGZ.

The costs for this therapy do not count towards the excess or compulsory own health care contribution!

No rights can be derived from this information. Always check yourself whether you are eligible for reimbursement!

Reimbursement by employer

Your employer has an interest in you being comfortable in your own skin. This certainly applies to work-related problems but sometimes also to things that seem more private.

Reasons may include:

  • Being a good employer
  • The importance of personal development
  • Increasing labour productivity
  • Prevention of absenteeism
  • Impending disability
  • Rapid reintegration after illness

Does your employer have an interest in the path you want to follow? Chances are you don’t have to pay yourself. And don’t be afraid that your employer will find out everything about you because there is a duty of confidentiality.

What are the options if you want your employer to pay?

– CAO

First, see if your collective agreement says anything about coaching/therapy opportunities. If so, go to HRM or your supervisor for more information.

– Via your manager

Then contact your supervisor. If he/she is familiar with what is going on with you and thinks you should do something about it, you have a good chance he/she will have a budget available.

– Via HRM

Does your supervisor not respond or you find it difficult to talk to him/her? Then contact the HRM or Human Resources department, indicate what is going on, that you have found a suitable coach/therapist and ask about the possibilities.

– Career development budget

Some clients are reimbursed from their career development budget. Check with your manager or HR department if you have such a budget and what the conditions are. Then think about why the Moms&More program meets the conditions and present it to your supervisor or HR manager.

– Occupational Health Service (Arbodienst)

If you are in contact with an occupational health and safety service about what is going on with you, ask them what the options are for getting reimbursed for coaching/therapy.

Reimbursement by own company

If you own a business and your treatment/coaching is related to the work you do for your business, then logically you enter the costs in your admin as business expenses.

Step 3: Conversation with the client.

Step 4: Weighing the violence or child abuse.

Care Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act – Wet Kwaliteit, Klachten en Geschillen Zorg (WKKGZ)

With effect from 1 January 2017, the government has decided that, as a client of a healthcare provider, you should be able to share any complaints easily and accessibly. The purpose of this law is that, as a client, you should be able to give feedback on the care you received, so that the healthcare provider can learn from your findings and improve it. This law makes it clear to you what steps you need to take to make your complaint known. The WKKGZ applies to all healthcare providers. Both for healthcare institutions and independent professionals, such as practitioners.

There are three distinct steps within this act:

Step 1: In the first instance, you raise a complaint with your practitioner.

Step 2:If that does not lead to a solution then contact the professional association and they will arrange for a complaints officer to step in. The professional association can be reached at info@vivnederland.nl. Herewith the complaints form.

Step 3: If the Complaints Officer fails to mediate, you may choose to take your complaint to a disputes committee. Here you will find a further explanation of the procedure.

If you have any questions about the procedure or the various agencies involved I would be happy to hear from you. Where people work there can be misunderstandings, I want you to know that this is not my intention. If you have any feedback for me or are unhappy about anything, please let me know.
